Where the heck have we been??
Well well well... would you believe it, I have finally
gotten around to writing a little bit about where we've been hiding the last 3
months. Of course we all say it coming, we would be motivated for the first few
months with this website then it was bound to go downhill. But i have intended
to stop that downfall, keep the ball rolling. So my friends where that heck
have we been. We'll we have been very much alive and well. As each day passes
we think we don't have much to do but now that we have gone 3 months without
writing, I'm sure we occupied ourselves with something.
Well I guess I'll back up to the end of the freezing
works. Our job there came to an end as we quit to get ourselves on the move
again. In the middle of February when
all you French and Canadians were freezing your bums off, we were still happily
fishing for the last time before leaving Hawkes Bay. We had a very successful
week thereafter in Wellington on the hunt for out to be new flat. Found a very
cozy abode 50seconds from Dylan's University. Then our beamer led us back to
the Bay for of course Dylan's exciting 21 first birthday. Which of course being
the first ever in New
Zealand
The weekend following the birthday was of course Nigel
Havery's 50th, which managed to make it self an extremely memorable afternoon
and evening as well. Day after this party with the great help of John and Zita
(Dylan's Grandparents) we had a super speed pack up, and move down to
Wellington.
Then our lives to a small turn, no place to fish, not
so much swimming, and no more golf for the moment. Dylan got down to business
and started in at University, he settled in very well and is have a nice time
with his studies. With my help on some assignments of course hehe.
I got a job fairly quickly, as a supervisor in the Hippopotamus
restaurant. The restaurant in the Museum Hotel in downtown Wellington
We seem to have settled in very nicely to our new
routines. After filling a flat from nothing we managed to make ourselves quite
comfortable.
So here we are, the day before Easter weekend.
Fortunately we have found a prospective fishing spot that we plan to try out in
the next week. Dylan bought some new golf clubs and I have found a great place
for free golf lessons. And of course we are finding places to try and get
ourselves back into a bit of shape after a fews months of some really easy
going relax time.
Either during Easter weekend or the week after we have
some travel plans to go do a bit more adventuring around Lake Taupo and
Rotorua. If you've never heard of those places look 'em up. Maybe it will give
some incentive on a small visit to New Zealand
So once again I apologize for the slackness on our
part. We are hoping to get a bit more feedback from you out there as well.
Please send us a little hey hows it note.
Have a Happy Easter everyone!!
Missing you guys. Please write soon.
